Free Preschool with Head Start to Success

Our Head Start to Success programs provide free comprehensive preschool to three- and four-year-old children who are experiencing poverty. Head Start to Success works in partnership with local school districts throughout Clackamas County. Additional funding through the Early Learning Account, which was created by the Student Success Act, allowed us to expand full-day preschool services for many children.

Our robust approach to family engagement provides every family with a home visitor who works with them to set goals, access resources in their community, and support children’s learning and development at home. Our services include:

  • Free Preschool
  • Nutritious Meals

  • Educational Family Visits
  • Referrals for Needed Services

Links to Learning

Vroom believes all parents want what’s best for their children. So we joined with scientists, researchers, and parents to take the science out of the lab and put it in the hands of caregivers. Vroom provides science-based tips and tools to inspire families to turn shared, everyday moments into Brain Building Moments®.

The Learning Library consists of 12 themed rooms where you can access your child’s favorite children’s books! The library is open 24 hours and you may visit as much as you would like!

Unite for Literacy has developed the platform to change the literacy landscape of their communities and optimize the future for all their young children. Their projects build home libraries and support families to develop a daily habit of reading, both of which are key factors in growing lifelong readers.

Books are offered in 50 languages!

Parent Policy Council

Head Start to Success's Parent Policy Council puts parents at the center of their child’s education and in a leadership position. It gives the parent a voice in their child’s school, education, and community. Join us in creating the best possible program for your child!
