What does good instruction look like when you’re in distance/hybrid learning? How do you balance your social emotional wellbeing as an educator while being pulled in so many directions? The COVID-19 pandemic and other events over the past several months have shed brighter light on the inequities in our systems. We’re asking again, how do we shift the narrative?
These questions and more will be a focus of the annual IntegratED conference, which helps educators collaborate and develop practical strategies for better integrating technology into teaching. iPDX 21 is going all virtual this year, and it’s also running longer. iPDX21 launches with its first session on Monday, Feb. 15, and will close with sessions on Thursday, March 18. This year, organizers are focusing on five key areas:
- Social and emotional learning
- Connecting with families and students
- Equity, choice and flexibility
- Instruction and feedback on student work
- COVID conversations
If you’re a teacher or administrator challenged to rethink what education looks like, join your colleagues for several weeks of learning, sharing and networking, knowing you will walk away inspired and ready to take the next steps forward together.
