“The threat assessment team is the best defense out there regarding school violence,” says Spencer Delbridge, one of two new Clackamas County student threat assessment coordinators.
“We were standing in a welding class at Mount Hood Community College," says Ladine Marquardt, assistant principal at Sandy High School. "A student turned to me and said: ‘Now I understand why algebra is important.’ That’s the connection we’re looking for.”
