North Clackamas Superintendent Matt Utterback was honored with the National Superintendent of the Year Award on Thursday, March 2, 2017. The award was presented at the AASA National Conference on Education in New Orleans. Under his leadership, North Clackamas Schools have dramatically raised graduation rates and achievement levels. The district is improving outcomes for all students, including low-income, minority and special education students.

North Clackamas School District is one of 10 component school districts within the Clackamas Education Service District. “Matt is a great partner and team player with all of our Clackamas area school districts,” says Jada Rupley, Superintendent of Clackamas Education Service District. “He brings his expertise and leadership to issues related to our district and to school districts around the state”
