Clackamas Education Service District is excited to introduce the Clackamas Connect Career Hub, an easy-to-use online platform designed to bridge the gap between schools and industry partners. This resource gives educators direct access to regional employers eager to collaborate with schools and career and technical education programs.

The Clackamas Connect Career Hub will enable schools to easily find and connect with local businesses and industry leaders offering a range of valuable opportunities, such as:

  • Guest speakers
  • Company tours
  • Job shadowing
  • Short-term internships
  • Career fairs
  • Advisory committees

“With the launch of this platform, Clackamas ESD continues to strengthen its commitment to preparing students for future careers by building meaningful school-industry partnerships,” says Bill Blevins, regional coordinator of the Clackamas Career and Technical Education Consortium.

Many CTE administrators, college and career counselors and local businesses, including Boeing, Independent Astrodynamics Consulting, Kirby Nagelhout Construction, Providence and Quanex, are already participating.

The Clackamas Connect Career Hub is a private database that requires a login for access. Educators interested in accessing the hub can request an account by emailing Bill Blevins at bblevins@clackesd.org.

To help educators make the most of this resource, Clackamas ESD is offering a short virtual training session to introduce the platform, guide users on finding opportunities, and demonstrate how to track engagement with industry partners:
