Last summer Clackamas ESD purchased a building adjacent to our administrative headquarters that will allow us to significantly expand our early learning support services. Over the past several months, we’ve worked with architects and our many stakeholders to map out spaces to serve two principal programs: Head Start to Success and early learning/early childhood special education. The building will include several classrooms. We also envision multiple evaluation spaces that will create home-like environments to observe children in natural settings. We’re placing a priority on designing flexible spaces that can accommodate changing needs for children of all pre-school ages.
