We are excited to share that entries are open for the second annual Clackamas ESD Regional Art Show! Art teachers across the county can now review the teacher guidelines for information on how to register students and submit artwork. Artists must register online by March 16, and artwork must be submitted to our Sunnybrook headquarters by March 23.
Administrators, superintendents, state officials and legislators walk through the Clackamas ESD building on a regular basis where student artwork will be displayed. These same individuals make crucial decisions about funding and other support for arts curriculum and programs. Unlike athletic and performance-based arts disciplines, the visual arts have relatively few opportunities to receive this kind of exposure. This art show will serve as a reminder of the importance of visual arts in our schools.
We will celebrate and give awards at a closing ceremony on May 3, so save the date! Anyone is welcome to join us at this time to celebrate the student artwork across our county.
